Bread Clay

  • 6 slices of white bread, crusts removed
  • 6 tablespoons white glue
  • 1/2 teaspoon detergent
  • food colouring

Knead the glue and bread together and then add the detergent. Continue to knead the mixture together until it is no longer sticky.

Seperate the bread mixture into smaller portions and add food colouring to create desired colours.

Create your decorations.

For a glossy coat, brush the decorations with a mixture of equal parts of glue and water.

Allow the decorations to remain out overnight to dry and harden.

Once completely dry, paint and seal with clear nail polish.

New Changes at CCAS

We know that you are seeing a lot of changes and unfortunately, they have not gone quite as smoothly has originally hoped. We are currently in the process of redesigning and upgrading CCAS to continue to bring you quality information about creative crafts, stickers and of course, scrapbooking. We should be able to get back to regular posts in the very near future.

In the mean time, we hope you will enjoy reading some of the older posts as they are re-entered. It is interesting to re-read them to see what was, and what is, and how much of the information is still quite relevant.

The pages being re-entered have much of the same content, however the urls (web addresses) to get to them have changed. So, if you have any of the original pages book marked, you are not going to be able to use the original link any longer. If an effort to make this transition easier, we will be leaving you reminders if you forget and use the old links. And you can always use the search to find what you are looking for.

Some of the changes you can already see is that the Creative Crafts and Stickers Blog is now the main site and we have updated our style. The categories have been changed a little to be easier for you and others to be able to find us when searching on the internet.

Again, we apologize for our delays and hope that you continue to visit and leave us feedback. Let us know what you think.

Oh, and BTW… it is good to be back!

Magazine Organizing

Submitted by Tonia

I love the indexes at year’s end but I dislike having to search through my stack of magazines to find the year end issue. So I scanned the index into the computer. Now I just pull up the file and quickly browse through the topics to find what I am looking for and then know exactly which magazine the article was in so I don’t have to try and remember where and when I saw the article. I have scanned previous year’s indexes as well.
