Creative Crafts and Stickers has a new design team and we have also added moderators to our team.  Once again, these Creative Chicks are spread out across North America, with four currently living in Canada and four living in the USA.

Hi, I am Shannon (1scrappymom). I am a mom of 2. My daughter, Bailee, is 10 and my son, Logan, is 4. I have been married to my best-friend, Shane, for the past 13 years. The 4 of us, plus my 83 year old grandfather and 2 old beagles live in Fort Wayne, IN. I have worked in the social service field since obtaining my first degree in 1993. I am currently working on my Masters in computer engineering, but still have a long way to go. When I am not working, studying or playing with my family, I am scrapping. Scrapbooking has evolved from just a simple hobby to a way of life for me. I think I have always scrapbooked in one form or another, but didn’t become “acid free” until 2001 after a cruise to the Bahamas. I love to try new ways of doing things and looking at the world from a different perspective. I also love the photography involved with scrapbooking. I love designing for Creative Crafts and Stickers!

 

 

Hi, I am Carrie (SmileyCarrie).  I live in Whitby, Ontario (just east of Toronto).  I recently completed a five-year University degree in Radiation Therapy.   I am fortunate to begin my career in early 2007 at a brand new cancer centre near my home.  Needless to say, I am very excited to be starting a new chapter in my life!   I live with my best friend and better-half, JF and we have been happily “dating” for six years.   We have a four-legged baby, Kelsey (a schnoodle).   She is the subject of many of my scrapbook layouts!

I originally began scrapbooking about ten years ago ~ back when I enjoyed cutting all my pictures into random shapes (hearts, stars and circles) and gluing them onto fluorescent-coloured paper.   Fortunately, that only lasted a few months.  I “officially” began scrapbooking two and a half years ago when my friend and I decided to take a beginner’s course at a LSS.   I have been addicted ever since!  

One of my favourite parts of scrapbooking is “meeting” so many great people on the scrapbook message boards.  I am so excited and honoured to be a part of the Creative Crafts & Stickers Design Team ~ and “meet” so many more great, talented people!

 

 

Hi, I’m Kristin (aka ScRaPaHoLic). I am 32 years old and mommy to Rachael (6) and Rebecca (3).  I have been married to Dave for 7 years.  We happily reside in beautiful Nova Scotia.

I started Scrapbooking a little over 2 years ago and I must admit that I am addicted more today than ever before. I scrap mainly because I love the process of making something with my own hands, but I also love the fact that along the way I am documenting our lives together as a family. My main scrapping focus is my two girls.  I love taking their quirky little everyday moments and turning them into memories.

I am extremely honored to be chosen as part of this team. I am looking forward to making many new friends and sharing this Design Team experience with all of you!

 

 

Hi, I’m Melissa (EmmettsMommy). I am a SAHM to my 16month old son. I am married to a wonderful guy named Vince, we just got married this past summer, but have been together for five years. We live in Sudbury.

Before I had Emmett I was a student studying to be an accountant. Im hoping to get back to school in the next few years, but for now I am really just enjoying the way things are. I LOVE being a mom!

I started scrapbooking after Emmett was born. I have always been interested in it, but I thought that I needed a child in order to start, boy was I wrong! Emmett is the main subject of my pages, but I also love making pages for my own books as well as my hubby’s. Before I started scrapbooking, I had always been in search of a hobby, but wasnt able to find one that fit! Now that I’ve found something Im so passionate about, I’m totally Addicted!

Im so excited about being a part of the CCAS team. I’m so happy to be part of such a welcoming and inspiring site!

 

 

Hello! My name is Renee (MnMommy2) and I have been scrapping since late 2000. I am a stay at home mom to my two very active little boys, Aaron is 5 and Morgan is 2. My husband, Andy of 9 years is supportive of my hobby although he wishes I would scrap more than I purchase! I try to scrapbook whenever time permits. When I am not scrapping, I am online looking at Scrap stuff or sleeping and dreaming about scrap stuff. Come on what avid scrapper doesn’t dream about scrapbooking?

For as long as I can remember, I have always been interested in some form of arts & crafts. I first entered the papercraft world with rubberstamping and cardmaking. Over the years my hobbies have changed but Scrapbooking has remained my most favorite of all. With all the new products always coming out, how can you not LOVE scrapbooking? I would describe my scrapping style as simple, but I always like to try new things, Although I like to keep the main focus on my photography and the memories.

My main subjects to scrapbook are my two boys and hubby. I love photography and will never run out of memories to scrap as I have a camera with me at all times. Everyday moments are my absolute favorite to scrap, it’s wonderful to see my children’s expressions and growth from day to day.

I am thrilled to be chosen as a CCAS Design Team member and cannot wait to learn more about you all and create new friendships and memories.

 

 

Hi there! My name is Tara (aka: Thynner). I have been a member of CCAS for almost a year now. I have lurked and stalked other boards but never felt comfortable joining until I came across CCAS. I adore Jen and the gals. They welcomed me with open arms and I have made some good friends here as well.

I have been a stay at home Mom for 7 years until this fall, when my youngest joined JK. Since she was gone half the day I went out and found a part time job. I have three girls who are very close to one another. The twins, Emmy and DD (her real name) are 7now and Paige is 4.

I have been married to my “soul mate” for 10 years now and I adore my family. They are my main inspiration for scrapping!

I have been scrapping now for just over 2 years. I stumbled upon it by accident. I never considered myself an artist and even hated art in school. But… my friend bought me a gift certificate for Scrapping Notions here in St Marys and I have been going ever since. I felt an instant connection with the store owner and I fell in love with what I could create. I find scrapping to be my sanctuary from the every day chaos of raising a family. It is my quiet time at the end of the day. It is so relaxing and I enjoy the entire process. I love trying new and interesting things on my pages and in my designs.

I have learned so much from the past design team. They have challenged me every month to create new and unusual pages that I love. There is so much talent here and I am so proud to have been chosen as part of the design team. It is such an honor. I look forward to doing my part to continue making CCAS a great place to be!

 

 

My name is Angie (angie)! I reside in Sheboygan, WI;on the coast of Lake Michigan where the winters are cold, and the cheese is good! I have been married 2 years to my wonderful husband, we just recently had our first child. Brayden is 6 months old and he is a blessing to have. I work full time as a purchasing planner/scheduler but my real passion is scrapbooking! I have been addicted to this hobby for the the last 5 years, although ever since I was old enough to have a camera I loved taking pictures and documenting them! I have shared this love with my friends and family, and have helped them start scrapping thier own memories. I hold a monthly crop with friends at my home, where we share ideas, motivation, and support while preserving lifes treasured moments. I don’t think I go a day w/o picking up something that is scrapbook related! By scrapping I not only hope to pass on the wonderful memories but an impression of myself as well. I’m very excited to be a part of Creative Crafts and Stickers community!

 

 

I’m scrapin4me! My name is Janean and I’m a 33 year old married mother of two beautiful children. I was born and raised in the stick of Arcanum, Ohio. Growing up, I lived in the same house, until I got married. I continue to reside here, with my husband and children. I have am a fulltime Human Resource Clerk and have worked in the personnel and accounting field for 12 years. I became interested in scrapbooking three years ago when I decided that I wanted to do something unique for my father for father’s day. That first scrapbook will forever be remembered. Many late nights and long hours. I didn’t scrapbook anything for a year and then became almost obsessed with it. Most of my pages revolve around my family and my pets. My dream is to win the lottery and open a scrapbook store in my hometown, a store that everyone will want to travel to see. My favorite line of supplies is My Minds Eye. I’m very excited to get to be a moderator for Creative Crafts and Stickers. Aside from scrapbooking, my only other passion is serving our Lord Jesus Christ and learning all that I can from Him! I’m excited to say that my family will be able to enjoy many memories thru my preservation of the past!
