Challenge #9: Use White Cardstock!
Good Morning Everyone! The sun has finally started to shine and things are looking stunning outside as the flowers start to open their petals. What a wonderful day it is going to be!
This morning’s challenge is one of my favourites. I challenge you to use white cardstock as your background. I absolutely LOVE layouts done on white. They always end up being so crisp and clean looking. LOVE IT!
There is a second part to this challenge as well. Once you have finished your layout, you need to create a card using the scraps. I decided to make mine a Birthday card so that I can give it to Catherine from Scrapbook & Cards Today to send off to one of the many children’s hospitals she is working with.

Remember that each challenge you complete gives you a ballot into our draw for a Clip It Up and if you complete a layout or mini album telling us Why You Scrapbook you will get 3 ballots.
For anyone who is interested, I have posted my 4×12 lego layout. All I can say is Oops! as I meant to upload it yesterday morning!
And don’t forget to leave comments for other participants. Once you have submitted a completed challenge to our team, you will receive a ballot for each comment you leave for other scrapbookers.

Jen, I am a little confused on how we leave comments for others on their work. How do you know it is there work looking at it in the slide show and do you leave the comments in these comments places?

I love white cardstock as well. Great job on your layouts. This has been a fun NSD. I just need to get mine scanned and e-mailed to Tara!! (and mailed to Catherine!)

I used to work all my layouts on white backgrounds as I was very addicted to Creative Memories in my early years. I still like the look of those pages.

I do like the simplicity of white backgrounds as well. I have emailed my 12×12 white background page to Jen. It was fun to make a card with the scraps - always a great idea to use them up!
