Bleeding Cowboys Font

Today’s font is called:

The Bleeding Cowboys font was first seen on the DaFont website in 2007, but it has since been updated. It was created by Gyom Séguin, a graphic designer, illustrator and artist from Canada. Gyom claims, “I am a graphic designer that listens to rock music and designs rocking fonts!” Gyom also has over 40 fonts available.

While researching this font, I found out some interesting things regarding Gyom. I went over to is website which is as plain and simple as his payment philosophy. His hope is that you like his work. So, if you DO like it and you think that it is worth anything to you, simply send him a donation via PayPal. You can find that link on the download page that the above links will take you too. Now, how cool would that be to have Gyom wake up tomoorow and find a few extra dollars in his bank account because of this post?

In addition to typography (fonts) Gyom also creates logos and apparel design. Let him know how you learned about him and thank him for his contributions!

Remember that although we take you to places that offer free font downloads, there are still copyright laws that cover them. Please make yourself aware of HOW you can use the free download by reading and becoming familiar with the extra files that are always available with a free download.

If you need additional font installation instructions, we have some available for you at How to Download Fonts.

Coffee and Curry Shop Font

Today’s font is:The Coffee and Curry Shop font is another font that I think would work very well as text as well as a title. It is relatively clean and rather easy to read. It is plain and simple, yet still has a bit of flair to set it apart from a completely embellishment free styled font like Ariel.

The Coffee & Curry Shop Font was created by Goma Shin from Japan. The Coffee & Curry Font is a free download that can be accessed by visiting Gomarice Font.

In order to add new fonts, you will have to download it to your computer. Once downloaded, you will then have to install. If this is your first time downloading a font or if you would like additional information to help remind you of the process, we have just the article for you at How to Download Fonts.

Sixty Seven Font

Last week during a conversation with a friend of mine about fonts (yes, I actually have conversations about fonts – I must truly lead a strange, but normal for me, life) she mentioned that she did not care for the teacher font “at all”. I was surprized and asked her why? Her comment was that it would very difficult to read if she used it in a card. I was so grateful that she shared that with me because I had not thought about the MANY uses for fonts. I was stuck in the mindset of scrapbooking and using a font for a title. I don’t know how that happened, but it did. You see, my friend hand makes cards for JillCards LLC. So whe she looks for a font, she is looking for something that can be used as text for her handmade cards.

So, this week I am featuring a new font that I think would make both a great scrapbooking title but would also work well as text in a handmade card.

This weeks font is:

Please Show Me Love Font

Would you like to be able to download our featured fonts right from the CCAS site?

Creative Crafts and Stickers is considering implementing our own font download area. We would like to offer free font downloads right here on CCAS but only if we have enough interest. I know that the free font feature is one of our regular’s favorite areas. We would continue to feature a font each week and in addition, you would be able to download it right from from our site.

Please email us let us know what you think of the idea.

Today’s featured font is:

When I first saw this font, I was half tempted to place each letter in a different color. I tend to go with the fonts that show more definition. The ones that have creativity within themselves. This particular font, reminds me of the type of doodling that I used to do on my high school notebooks. Inevitably, I would go back through with different colors to fill in the solid areas. I would often fill in the lined areas making stripes or even different patterns.

Please Show Me Love font is another free font offered by Andrew2.  This font features what appears to be hand drawn letters with doodling in the letters. Some letters have stripes, some include scribbles some are solid and some are outlined. The complete set includes only lowercase letters.  You may download Please Show Me Love font in TrueType font, as well as OpenType font formatted files for your installation.

Visit our  How To Download Fonts article if you need a little extra help to remember all of the steps.

Teacher Font

Today’s Font is:

We found the Teacher Font when it was a featured free font on the home page of the Urban Fonts website. What appealed to us with this font was the thick bold lettering, the modern flare and the rounded edges. We think that the possible applications for this font within any scrapbook page or craft are positively endless. And we know when you add your creativity to the project you will very likely think of things that we did not.

The Teacher font download files includes capital letters, lowercase letters, numbers and punctuation symbols. As usual, the font download is free just by visiting Urban Fonts Teacher Font download.

We would LOVE for you to send us your photo, an article or even a tutorial about how you used the Teacher font. Not only will you qualify for an entry into our sponsored monthly drawing, your submission will be featured on our site. You can submit your image, article or tutorial by clicking on Get Featured in the menu bar and completing the short form.

Creative Crafts and Stickers (CCAS) also has information regarding downloading and installing fonts in our  How To Download Fonts article if this is something you are new to or if you just want a little extra help to remember all of the steps.

Little Bliss Font

Today’s featured font is:

I just thought that this Little Bliss font was so cute. It brought back all of those warm and fuzzy feelings that I had as I brought each of my new babies home from the hospital – SO long ago. The name of the font, the look of the font, just everything about it made me think of all the little things that I kept to add to my childrens first year baby scrapbooks.

I had one of the “store bought” baby books. As an avid scrapbooker, one would not even consider purchasing a blank baby book that the craft stores offer but we mothers often find ourselves getting them as gifts during the traditional baby showers. So, if you fall into that category and you have one of those “store bought” scrapbooks, this font could be a great font to use as a title for one of the featured areas. I can picture it in blue or pink and above the one baby picture that all mothers typically take and save… the newborn calmly asleep in their crib with the sweetest look on their face. You could even turn the font into an iron on transfer and transfer it onto a piece of soft cotton fabric stretched over cardboard to replace the “store bought” titles throughout the book or use it as unique titles on your created scrapbook pages.

The Little Bliss font  is available in regular and bold. The one in the image above is the bold – go figure… it says bold.

You may download the awesome Little Bliss Font by Andrew2 over at his site Dirt2. Be sure to leave him a comment about his font and let him know how your heard about it.

Send us a photo, an article or even a tutorial about how you used the Little Bliss font for an entry into our sponsored monthly drawing. You can submit your image, article or tutorial by clicking on Get Featured in the menu bar.
