Sketch Puzzle for July 18, 2010

This puzzle has awesome details. It is presented by Ally Cope. Thanks, Ally for the contribution and your wonderful work over at the WeScrap site.

The sketch is designed to highlight two photos. The photos are offset from what could be an eye catching accent color. Embellishments and designs are randomly placed above, on and to the side of the images or photos as well as strategically placed along the side of the color accent. A generous journalling area is available near the centered title area.

Sketch Puzzle for July 11, 2010

We hope you had a wonderful day off last week and are excited to bring you this week’s sketch puzzle. I love the colors in this one. Let me tell you a little about the sketch.

This sketch features 2 non standard sized images or photos, matted together on an solid background. You could even crop them to a smaller size and add an area for some additional journalling if desired. The solid background could also be exchanged for a pattern or even adorned with some additional embellishment like lace or ribbon. After the images are matted, the single piece is them mounted onto a framed page with a large print banner going from the top of the page to the bottom of the page. I chose to depict the banner with a bold and bright floral design. I picked a color from the floral design to mimic and use as an accent color for the title. And the title is a font called “Brandy”.

Enjoy the puzzle!

Sketch Puzzle for June 27, 2010

This weeks sketch was originally featured in the WeScrap Sketchy Saturday forum. The design was from Calia and it was posted by holly_m from the Inspiration Team. Let me tell you a little about the sketch…

Two photos or images can be featured using this sketch. A single word or title is located below the centered photos and a large journalling area is located on the right side of the page in a column. There are some suggestions for embellishment placement but you could use your own creativity to change this a bit and add those special touches wherever you believe would best enhance your own scrapbook page.

So, here is the puzzle for you to solve. Good luck and have fun!

Sketch Puzzle for June 13, 2010

CCAS is happy to announce that our sketches will soon be available for download right here on our very own site. Keep watching for details. We will continue to offer them as a puzzle (because we know that you love that option) and offer them as a download as well for you to be able to collect each week. How awesome is that?

This weeks puzzle has multiple layers, any of which could be a different patterned fabric, colored cardstock or even a lace or ribbon embellishment. We are once again highlighting one photo – you could easily add one or two more to the left of the featured photo by keeping them 1/2 the size of the original and turning them to the landscape layout. The layout is designed for a square page. Feel free to change it up as you desire to meet your own creativity.

If you use our sketches, we would love to see what you create. You may submit your sketches for us to feature on CCAS by submitting via the Get Featured tab in the main menu bar. Submitting a sketch also enters you into our monthly drawing.

You cannot order a printed version but you are more than welcome to download it and print it out yourself. It will make a great addition to your personal scrapbooking library or as a scrapbooking resource.
