Sketch Puzzle for September 19th 2010

A large single image and matching sized journalling area are the main focal points of this sketch.

Starting with a solid and accent colored background, layering with a complimentary color that has an interesting edge and embellishing with bold and big dots, this sketch is simple yet catchy and fun.

Sketch Puzzle for September 12th 2010

Clean, simple and to the point. This sketch highlights a large single image set on a relatively mono-chromatic background. The background features different layered patterns of varying opacity. The effect is dramatic, classy and interesting.

Corner areas have room for additional embellishments and journalling is featured inside of accent colored strips. This sketch was created using Java Joe from Raspberry road.

Sketch Puzzle for September 5th 2010

Another great sketch! Calia Yang’s sketch was featured on WeScrap in early 2010.

This two image layout also incorporates ingenuity by thinking outside the box and placing the title area vertically instead of the usual horizontal orientation.
Long slender photos are flanked with accent borders and colors and a little bit of “flare”.

Calia even left us plenty of space to add strips of creative journalling.

Sketch Puzzle for August 29th 2010

Today’s single photo sketch puzzle was graciously provided by Michelle Galloway. Using a single photo sketch always gives you the ability to use your photos in either profile or landscpe layout and often leaves room to add another image should you find the need.

This layout uses an accent color to background and frame both the image and the title. There is ample room for unique shapes which could be utilized for journalling areas. Add a few embellishments under the frame, at the top and along the sides to enhance the balance and you have a great layout.
