Tame that Unruly Ribbon

My friend Teresa is the current Guest DT at weScrap. She posted these great tips on How To Tame Unruly Ribbon that I wanted to share with you:

I love using ribbon and lace on my layouts and the January Kit is full of them. I store my ribbons as flat as possible but most of the time they get a little wrinkled. My solution…I use my craft iron to iron them flat. Be sure that you are ironing on a heat resistant surface.

Gluing lace down can also be a problem; there are many holes that the glue can seep through. I have found that the spray glue works the best. I lay my ribbon face down, spray the glue, and then adhere to my page. No messy fingers, no visible glue.

For the finishing touch on your ribbon be sure that it does not fray. Use Glossy Accents on the ends and let it dry. It will keep the ribbon from fraying!
